A few weeks ago Catherine attended the Business Gone Wild VIP Day at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
Chessington is an ideal location for the client who wants to offer something different for their event with easy access to the A3 and M25, and within 35 minutes from central London by train. This makes it ideal if you want somewhere different or unique not to far from London. The resort has 2 hotels on site, the Safari and Azteca Hotels and both can offer private spaces for corporate events. With around 219 bedrooms across both hotels with standard, executive and themed rooms there is something for everyone.
Within the Safari Hotel is the main conference centre which has 6 modern meeting rooms to accommodate groups of 10 up to 300 delegates. There is an adjoining lounge where refreshments can be served and to use for registering delegates. A semi-private section of the restaurant in the Azteca Hotel can also be used for theatre style presentations.
Both hotels have restaurants to choose from where lunch & dinner can be served. Semi-private areas can be provided for all size groups.
To make your event even more special you can include a visit to the zoo or Sea Life Centre, or for the more adventurous include rides and attractions too. The theme park offers an excellent opportunity to host corporate fun days, ride & dine packages, animal experiences and VIP ride access.
For something a little different, Chessington have built new for 2016, 35 glamping tents to accommodate 4 people in each along with a themed restaurant ‘Explorers Outpost’. These can be booked exclusively for corporate groups.

Chessington are also hosting 2 different themed Christmas events this year, ‘Roaring Twenties’ and ‘Jungle all the Way’, if you are looking for something a little more exotic.
It was a great day out providing the opportunity to see both of the hotels on site and the conference facilities they have to offer, as well as spending quality time with the family in the park afterwards.
