Each Red Carnation Hotel is unique and in this blog we are highlighting two of their 4 star London Hotels; one is offering the themed Charlie & The Chesterfield Tea and at the other you can surf in the Summer and ski in the Winter …

The Chesterfield is located in Mayfair and dates back to the 1740’s. There are 93 individually designed bedrooms with an additional 13 deluxe suites.

Red Carnation is notorious for it’s use of unique styles and colours and this property doesn’t disappoint. The decor ranges from pinstripes reflecting Savile Row to the florals of an English Cottage Garden to the vibrancy of the African Savannah.

There are 7 meeting rooms, the largest has a capacity of 150 reception style, the Library and the Salon are ideal for private dining. All of the meeting rooms are flooded with natural daylight bar 1 boardroom located on the lower ground level.

The hotel was commended at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2016 for it’s Charlie and the Chesterfield Tea. Inspired by the chocolate factory film the experience offers chocolate infused tea, cakes and lots of sweet treats. Children can tuck into their own special selection and sip hot chocolate with marshmallows with the Oompa Loompa menu.

The Terrace Bar specialises in cocktails created after months of experimentation, from the Amaretto Sour, encased in a bubble to the Eton Mess drink which comes with a hammer to release vodka trapped in ice ! The atmosphere is completed with the music from the pianist who performs Monday to Saturday evenings.

The Montague on the Gardens is a stone’s throw from the British Museum and this row of Georgian houses were joined to form an 88 bedroom, 11 suites hotel. Some of the bedrooms are designed to look sleek and traditional, others to be bold but all are inviting and complete with homely touches.

There are 5 meeting rooms, the largest can hold 150 reception style. For an exclusive private meeting and dining experience, the Woburn Suite has a cosy seating area and conservatory.

The Blue Door Bistro is the main restaurant; it features a photo border showing a panoramic view of London in 1849. The Leopard Bar is what it says on the tin and is made up of colonial South African inspired furnishings.

The Cigar Terrace has a Humidor cabinet offering the best, latest and most exotic collection of cigars.  Cigar dinners are held here combining a 5 course tasting menu with Cuban cigars and matching wines and a Cigar sommelier is always on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly.

The Wood Deck transforms into a Beach Bar over Summer with real sand, summer cocktails and BBQ food. It is then re-designed into a Ski Lodge over winter with falling snow, lanterns, woolly rugs, mulled wine and candied pecans. This space can hold 150 reception style so is an extra special space for a Summer/Winter party.
