Lida recently stayed at the Carden Park Hotel en route to viewing Hotels in Manchester with some clients for an upcoming event. Here is her blog ……
The Jack Nicklaus Suite was lovely – shame I was only in it to sleep and due to strong winds and the very heavy rain beating against the window, I didn’t get much sleep. The grounds, all 1000 acres of them, are just amazing.
Carden Park has 18 meeting rooms with the largest, the Carden Suite, capable of holding 400 pax theatre style. It has recently been refurbished and has a state of the art BOSE sound system, nine 60 inch plasma screens and a 6000 optical fibre starlight ceiling and I witnessed some different coloured lights in the ceiling during my visit.
With such extensive grounds, Carden Park is a great venue for outdoor activities of any sort from a group quad biking session to something a little more challenging such as working together to master theon-site KONG ropes course. There is a lot on-site including laser clay pigeon shooting, puzzle trails, archery, 2 challenging golf courses, a fully equipped gymnasium, tennis courts and an indoor pool, spa and relaxation rooms and of course activities can be tailored to a group’s requirements from the wild and wacky to the tame and testing.
So, if you have any requirements for a venue in the north-west, Carden Park is definitely worth a visit.
