Lida broke her journey ‘up north’ on Friday 2nd August and stopped off at Chesford Grange Hotel, on the outskirts of Kenilworth, Warwickshire (a Q Hotel) located approximately 15-20 minutes from J15 of the M40.
The hotel was extremely busy, mainly with leisure guests (and since it was August that is to be expected). It has 205 contemporary bedrooms and I was lucky enough to be in one of the Superior Rooms. I made use of the pool in the Leisure Club on the Saturday morning (much appreciated) prior to having breakfast in the Restaurant – buffet style with a good selection.
The hotel has 13 flexible conference rooms and the largest room, the Kenilworth Suite, can hold up to 700 people theatre style. Emma from the Events team, gave me a thorough show round on the Saturday morning – thank you Emma. For those looking to hold a teambuilding event as part of their Conference, Chesford Grange has 17 acres of grounds to play in! If the majority of your delegates will be arriving by car, that shouldn’t be a problem as there are 650 parking spaces on-site. For any events requiring a substantial exhibition, The Grange function space, within the Events Centre, provides an ideal area.
