Laura recently had the opportunity to experience a FAM Trip at Chessington World of Adventures, she was lucky enough to take 4 guests along with her to enjoy the day. Read all about her experience at Chessington:
We began by meeting in the Safari Hotel and after a short presentation we explored the facilities that this hotel and sister property Azteca Hotel have to offer.
Chessington resort is ideally located just off the M25, a short drive from both Gatwick and Heathrow. Their conference centre comprises of six modern meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 250 guests. These spaces benefit from in-built AV equipment, complimentary Wifi and car parking. In addition to the meeting rooms there are themed Restaurants and Bars that can be booked for drinks receptions and dinners.
Between the two properties there are a range of bedrooms on offer; standard rooms, Wanyama rooms which have all the style and comfort of standard rooms but with the added extra of views across their Wanyama Reserve where you can catch a glimpse of the wildlife that roam. Then there are the themed rooms from The Gruffalo to Penguins of Madagascar to African Adventure Rooms, all fully decorated and furnished to fit the theme offering a unique overnight stay.
Chessington also now have Glamping Tents with all the adventure of camping but the comfort of a hotel room! They have 31 standard tents and 4 premiums which have the added luxuries of a king size bed, outdoor furniture and towels.
Following the show around, we were free to explore the park for the day, we had a brilliant time on the rides and wandering around the Zoo and Sealife centre, there was so much to see and do.
