Abu Dhabi is a rising cultural hub in the Middle East making it a new and fascinating conference destination, Travel Weekly UK names it “arguably one of the world’s most exciting new tourism hotspots”. This can be further backed up by seeing its rise through the International Congress and Convention Associations rankings; rising from 234th worldwide and 46th for Asia Pacific and the Middle East in 2011 to 108th and 23rd respectively in 2014.

If you are looking for a new and exciting conference destination in an opening market then this could be the place you are looking for…..

Travel
In terms of travel to Abu Dhabi, British Airways is currently operating seven flights a week into Abu Dhabi International Airport from London Heathrow Terminal 5. Once landing at the airport it is only 20 minutes travel time to the Business district. The national Airline of the United Arab Emirates (Ethiad Airways) offers cargo and passenger services internationally to more than 75 destinations, so as a conference destination it is really accessible.

Activities
Abu Dhabi not only offers a great destination for an event, it also offers great activities to maximise the experience or add onto an incentive travel trip. Ferrari World is the largest indoor theme park housing over 30 different Ferraris and the world’s fastest roller coaster so if delegates want an extra thrill a trip to the park would be ideal.

Excursions can be arranged to the entrance of the Empty Quarter, the world’s largest uninterrupted sand mass in the Liwa Desert (which is home to some of the largest sand dunes on earth) or to the Oasis City of Al Ain.
