Hilton St Anne’s Manor
I was fortunate enough to be invited to stay at Hilton St Annes Manor in Bracknell. The country house hotel set in beautiful grounds has a generous carpark and the link to the M4 corridor is excellent making Heathrow Airport only 30 minutes by car. Bracknell and Wokingham train stations are just a couple of miles and offer direct trains to London Waterloo in just over an hour.
My partner and I found the staff welcoming and accommodating especially the Duty Manager, he is an asset to Hilton. Not only was he courteous and professional with us we watched him interacting with other guests and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a newly refurbished deluxe room which was tastefully decorated, the bathroom was very nice! The standard and family rooms, whilst not having been refurbished, were completely acceptable, clean and perfect for leisure and conference guests alike.
St Annes has 10 conference rooms holding a maximum of 250 delegates making it perfect for meetings, conferences or a wedding! The Sunningdale Suite I particularly admired with plenty of natural daylight and direct access to the grounds and terrace.
The public areas were kept tidy and the conservatory was an especially pleasant spot to check emails, read materials or even have a cream tea! The restaurant is light and airy and offers a good choice for dinner and a buffet for breakfast.
Overall this venue, in my opinion, offers everything one would need if attending a conference. The highlight for me was the swimming pool and jacuzzi! A fabulous way to start or end the day whether you are there for business or leisure.
