Virgin Hotel Glasgow – opening May 2023

The Highyard – capacity 150

With flexible seating and iconic views, the Highyard lounge is a large event space catering to up 150 people for cocktail events. With an intimate indoor/outdoor conservatory, Highyard is a unique location for cocktail parties, product launches, corporate dinners and social events.

The Highyard Terrace – capacity 50

An intimate location within the Highyard, the terrace delivers impressive indoor/outdoor vibes making it an ideal location for smaller cocktail events where you can enjoy Clydeside views whatever the weather!

Meeting Room – capacity 24 (2 rooms)

Accommodating up to 28 guests in boardroom style, these are two flexible meeting spaces which can we used individually or together to make one room

Mollie’s Manchester

Mollie’s the British hotel and diner concept with a bold vision to transform travel with its own distinctive ‘budget-luxe’ offering, is opening its third and largest site in the Old Granada TV Studios on Quay Street in Manchester.

Manchester is Mollie’s most ambitious launch to date. Following the first road-side Motel & Diner sites in Oxfordshire and Bristol, Mollie’s Manchester is the company’s first city centre property and a blueprint for future city locations.

Mollie’s is heading for Manchester’s Old Granada Studios ­– a famous city landmark. The iconic 1950s television studios (where both the Beatles and Sex Pistols made their first TV appearances) will be home for Mollie’s Manchester in partnership with a new Soho House from late 2023.

The re-invention of the renowned building will make playful nods to the building’s vibrant history. Mollie’s vision is to bring people together to work, stay and play – creating a high-energy, social and artistic hub in the heart of Manchester.

Mollie’s Manchester will have 130 rooms,  including a large apartment, a selection of large suites and studios, bunk rooms and family rooms.  There will be a 150+ cover diner-style restaurant, large cocktail bar with live music and private event spaces, lounge bar and deli, private workspace and an outdoor heated terrace, across seven floors. The top three floors of the building will boast Manchester’s very own Soho House, swimming pool and club.

Treehouse Manchester

Staying in Manchester, the Treehouse Manchester will be the second hotel within the Treehouse Hotels brand (the first was in London) and second hotel for SH Hotels & Resorts in the UK. Located in central Manchester it will certainly offer something different to the city.

The Hotel will have 224 bedrooms.

There are 7 event spaces located on the first floor with the largest being the Hazel Suite which can take up to 240 cabaret (which can split into 2 rooms) There is the Cedar which can take up to 80 theatre style plus a screening room which will take up to 42  and finally 3 smaller boardrooms. On the 15th floor is the Hideout (56 standing)

There will be two restaurants, as well as a panoramic rooftop bar, The Nest and a secret hideout and terrace to explore.

100 Princes Street, Edinburgh – due to open in the latter months of 2023

The family-run Red Carnation Hotel group are opening in Scotland. The former Overseas League, 100 Princes Street is inspired by the rich history of the many great Scottish explorers and adventurers who made this historic building their ‘home away from home’. The restoration will look to protect and retain the original heart and soul of 100 Princes Street, restoring the original building and its iconic features.

Stand-out features will include a wine wall with over 200 fine wines, showcasing the range from the family-owned vineyard Bouchard Finlayson, and an incredible collection of acclaimed Scottish whiskies adorning one wall.

The Hotel will have 30 bedrooms with an all day Lounge open all day for residents (with breakfast, all day snacks and dinner).

This will be a good venue for small high end incentive groups or small corporate groups.

The BoTree, London – opening Summer 2023

Set to be one of London’s most exciting openings in 2023, The BoTree is located at the top end of Marylebone Lane on the border with Mayfair, blending two of London’s chicest neighborhoods to form a vibrant, energising, and inspiring new luxury hotel designed by EPR Architects. The hotel’s stunning interiors will reflect a natural extension of the lane through a series of uniquely designed luxurious spaces that have been created by award-winning designers, Concrete.

With a focus on personalised service, there will be 199 rooms, including 29 suites, with spectacular views across the city. Additional highlights include destination restaurants and bars, and a diverse range of events and shared spaces such as a private cinema screening room unique event space, and a fitness centre.
