We recently visited Latimer Place in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, located in the Chiltern Hills overlooking Chess Valley. It is just 5 miles from J8 of the M25 and easily accessible from both Heathrow and Luton airports.

Latimer consists of 3 venues on site accommodating both bedrooms and meeting space in each. The House, a Victorian country manor, The Mews and the Executive Centre (however this is currently closed and going through a refurbishment programme). The majority of the conference facilities, in use at the moment, are located within the main house and they can accommodate up to a maximum of 100 delegates theatre style. When the Executive Centre re-opens larger conferences can be accommodated for over 200 delegates. There are also more, smaller meeting rooms within the house & Mews all with natural daylight, offering free Wifi and up-to-date audio visual equipment. As with all DeVere Venues all the venues offer Energy stations with free flowing tea, coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, mineral water, biscuits, fresh fruit, porridge and popcorn so no delegate will go hungry ! Meeting Room in Latimer House There are a number of dining options on site with a restaurant in each of the buildings, private dining rooms and plenty of outdoor space for BBQ’s or picnics. Latimer is set in acres of landscaped gardens and grounds, and lends itself well for team building activities. They have recently joined forces with an activity company who provide a teambuilding Bear Grylls Experience to test your delegates with the ultimate survival skills including fire lighting, shelter building and rope skills. Latimer would be a good choice for your next event offering lots of meeting room flexibility & an ideal training environment. We will keep you updated on all the scheduled refurbishment.
