 In Venue Information

Most Museums are designed to welcome large numbers of visitors so in turn can facilitate large numbers of delegates for a conference or event. We work with their accredited suppliers and caterers to provide everything you would need for your event.

Unique venues such as museums offer the wow factor and also interest to your invited guest – we are always being asked for ‘somewhere different’

As well as the more well known Museums such as Natural History, V & A and British Museum in this blog we have decided to highlight a further 2 Museums that are great for a corporate event that may not so well known. These Museums also offer daytime hire in some of their conference rooms so they don’t just have to be used for evening events allowing flexibility.

Museum of Brands

Museums

Situated in Notting Hill, the Museum of Brands presents over 15,000 exhibits of branded posters, packets, advertisements and fashion from decades gone by.
The Museum offers light and air conditioned conference facilities which work perfectly for Presentations and Meetings during the day. The room can sit up to 85 theatre style (45 cabaret)
Alternatively, the venue is available in the evenings where the whole Museum can be hired exclusively, ideal for Award Ceremonies or Dinner Parties.

Evening hire includes access to the time tunnel where thousands of exhibits are displayed, use of the Branding Hall where presentations or speeches can take place and access to the private garden until 8pm. The capacity of the full Museum ranges from a Dinner setup that seats 55 people to a Reception to take up to 250 people standing.

Museum of London

Museums
The Museum of London began when archivists found a small piece of Roman Mosaic, little did they know it would now play host to thousands of exhibits documenting the history of London from pre-historic to modern times and welcoming almost one million visitors a year.
The conference facilities are contemporary and versatile; all rooms are equipped with a projector, PA System, Mics and Wifi. They all vary in size, the smallest being the Boardroom that seats 12 and the largest being the purpose built lecture theatre that can seat 230 delegates.
The three terrace rooms offer an attached private garden area perfect for quiet breaks. These rooms can be booked for daytime events.

The Museum comes alive at night with a capacity of 1000 for a reception or 350 for a banquet. Events can be complimented by a private tour by one of their curatorial experts or actors in period dress can interact with guests.

So if you are looking for a venue that is spacious, accommodating and steeped in history and offering something different, then you may consider a Museum for your next event.
