What is the best venue for a London COVID-19 Compliant Event?
With the slow return of small meetings at external venues and the possibility that larger events can commence in England from 1st October (subject to the go-ahead from the government), the search for the best venue with all the necessary facilities is key to ensure the smooth running of any corporate event.
Central London has always been a major hub for corporate events but with the impact of COVID-19 and fewer people travelling on public transport, alternative locations on the outskirts of London may be more desirable. The ability for delegates to access a venue easily from major road and motorway networks, with ample car parking on site, will be a key factor in choosing a venue, moving forward, for any forthcoming conferences.
Why not consider the outskirts of London whether you’re centrally located or have delegates travelling from the Home Counties and further afield? There are a plethora of venues located outside London’s city centre, offering excellent conference and events space, along with the added bonuses of car parking, outdoor space for teambuilding activities and often more competitive delegate rates.
The cost of car parking is obviously a factor to be considered when choosing a venue. Many city centre venues either don’t have car parking on site which means delegates need to use public car parks, which can be extremely expensive, or venues charge for their limited parking facilities, again impacting on the final cost for both delegates and/or the end client organising the event.
The majority of venues on the outskirts of London tend to have car parking spaces available on site and, more often than not, this is offered complimentary or included within delegate packages.
