Site inspections
Site inspections are so important as our clients rely on our venue knowledge when booking their corporate events, so we recently revisited the Lancaster London Hotel has it has undergone some refurbishment in the last couple of years.
The Nine Kings Suite on the ground floor was completely different to how we remembered it and we caught a glimpse of it almost in its entirety, as an exhibition was being set up for the next day and the whole of the room was opened out, apart from one section. The Suite can hold up to 950 theatre style (over 1700 for a standing reception) and one of the surprising features, which we had forgotten about, was that the room has natural daylight. The Westbourne Suite, directly below the Nine Kings, has only had a soft refurbishment and looks very different to the Nine Kings, with lots of dark wood. It can hold up to 1200 pax theatre style.

The Forest Suites (13 in total) on Level 1, cater for smaller events of up to 150 pax and the majority have natural daylight and many have lovely views over Hyde Park. The Oak Suite has lovely floor to ceiling picture windows. These meeting rooms have audio/visual links to the Nine Kings and Westbourne Suites and are ideal for breakout sessions or Board Meetings.
Forest Suites
The Lancaster is famous for its wonderful Thai Restaurant, Nipa and since we have eaten there previously (and also because one team member has a severe nut allergy) we opted to sample Island Grill and have dinner there. This is a split-level, contemporary, Restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Hyde Park with the food cooked in the open style Kitchen. One must not forget the bedrooms and a large number of them have been refurbished and are of a good standard, some with amazing views of Hyde Park. There are 6 room categories in total, including the Royal Suites. WiFi is now included in all bedrooms which come equipped with all the essentials such as a desk with universal power sockets, a flat screen TV, minibar, an iron and ironing board, and all bathrooms have complimentary LLK toiletries, power showers and bathrobes.
