This was a new client who reached out with their venue search enquiry via our website. They were referred to us by a past client who used DeSouza Associates at a previous company and highly recommended our company to them!
The pressure was on for our experienced team of venue finders to use their venue knowledge and years of expertise to match the client to the most suitable venue for their meeting requirements.
The Brief
Small Team Meeting in London in May or June
Style of venue: Co-Working Event Space or a meeting room within a hotel
Liverpool Street area ideal
The budget was not disclosed so the client asked for 3 options ranging from cheapest, middle-range, and expensive
Lunch & refreshments were not compulsory, as the client could bring their own if allowed, but would consider options
How the DeSouza Associates Team helped:
Our venue finding team selected several suitable venues to contact in line with our client’s brief.
Being short-lead and a busy May/June in London, many venues were already fully booked. However, we persevered and managed to propose 3 good options – a hotel, a training venue, and a co-working space. All with varying, negotiated prices.
The client had to arrange a meeting to discuss the venue options with their line manager, so we advised each of the venues of this to ensure that the dates would be kept on provisional hold.
Once the event date was eventually finalised and a preferred venue was chosen from the 3 options, we liaised with the venue to check availability. Luckily, they had the date and event space free!
A choice of event space was offered at their chosen venue so once it was agreed on which room the client preferred, we were given the green light to confirm the venue.
The client then liaised directly with the venue to arrange contracts and final payment.
The client was really happy with the venue and said it catered to all their needs perfectly.
