We kicked off 2026 with our first offsite team meeting of the year at Tylney Hall Hotel in Hampshire. The day provided an opportunity to step away from the usual office environment, to focus on our plans for the year ahead, without the distractions of day-to-day business.

Tylney Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed country house set within 66 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds. Conveniently located just minutes from the M3 & M4 motorways, and a short drive from Basingstoke, it offers great transport links for delegates travelling from across the UK. The hotel is part of the Elite Hotels collection, alongside Ashdown Park Hotel in the heart of Ashdown Forest, Sussex, and The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne on the South Coast.
The 112 bedrooms are spread between the main manor house and surrounding gardens, offering nine individual room categories ranging from Classic Rooms and Garden Suites through to the impressive State Suite. Each room is uniquely designed, combining period character with modern comfort.
For meetings and events, Tylney Hall offers nine distinctive event spaces. The largest, the Tylney Suite, can accommodate up to 120 delegates theatre style, featuring its own stage and Minstrel Gallery. The Chestnut Suite provides an exclusive-use option, set within private gardens and complete with its own reception area and bar. During our visit, we made use of one of the hotel’s traditional boardrooms located within the manor house, which provided an ideal setting for our meeting.
The extensive grounds are perfectly suited to a wide range of team-building activities and outdoor events. Guests can also take advantage of the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, and a selection of spa treatments.
The award-winning Oak Restaurant serves guests for breakfast, lunch & dinner, while a range of private dining options are available for groups.

It had been several years since our last visit, so it was fantastic to familiarise ourselves with the venue and explore everything it has to offer for corporate events. From its versatile meeting spaces and comfortable accommodation to its extensive grounds and leisure facilities, Tylney Hall provides an excellent setting for conferences, meetings, team-building activities and corporate retreats.
