There are many exciting new hotel openings this year and in 2023.

We cannot wait for them to open so we can book them for our clients, but in the meantime here is a sneaky preview of a few – another blog to follow!

Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone – due to open early September

Key points:

The first and only trackside hotel at Silverstone circuit
The Hotel will have a Rooftop Bar in the area with panoramic views of Silverstone and the track, offering exclusive use event options – Silverstone International Conference and Exhibition Centre.
A walkway bridge will connect the Hotel to the largest meeting and event space between London and Birmingham.
There will be 197 bedrooms – 88 of which will have a track facing view

The Hotel will have a rooftop bar which will be available to book for events for up to 180. This space has a 360 degree view of Silverstone and will also be open to the public from April to October
There will also be a private boardroom/dining room for 12
A semi-private dining room for 30

Also worth noting:

  • Complimentary car parking
  • 12 electric charging points
  • Fitness Centre
  • Silverstone Circuit megastore located on site
  • Starbucks coffee shop serving Starbucks with takeaway options
  • 175 seater Box Restaurant with a 24hr bar.

Raffles London at The OWO. Opening Winter 2022/2023

Formerly Britain’s historic Old War Office, the iconic Whitehall building was once inhabited by Britain’s most famous statesmen and spies, from Winston Churchill to Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond.  In fact, many of the Bond movies had scenes filmed in the building.  We are so excited for this iconic  building to be opening as a Raffles London at the OWO – their first London hotel.

Key Points:

The hotel will have  120 rooms and suites designed by Thierry Despont.  The 85 Raffles branded residences, designed by 1508 London, will offer a complete range of Raffles services – from in-suite dining, to housekeeping and laundry, to private events.
There will be nine restaurants and 3 bars are overseen by world-class chefs, including three unique dining experiences by chef Mauro Colagreco.
For body and mind, a luxurious Guerlain Spa with nine treatment rooms offer traditional beauty therapies, complemented by a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, vitality pool, saunas and steam rooms, state of the art gym and yoga studio.
The largest event space, the Ballroom, will be accessed via the grand marbled central staircase and will take events for up to 600 people. It is complemented by extensive pre-function space and six additional meeting rooms.

The Event Spaces:

The Whitehall Ballroom:
Capacity: 600 guests seated at round tables, 574 seated theatre style, 450 guests dinner dance (flexible depending on set up), 384 classroom style.
Named after its historic Whitehall address, this spectacular ballroom is double height with ceilings of seven metres at the highest point allowing for dramatic staging and set design for the most creative of events such as product launches, conferences and parties,
Secure riggings points are built-in for advanced lighting and sound event production, meaning the space can be used for artistic productions to West End theatre-level standards.

This event space is very versatile as the Ballroom can be split into one third and two thirds.  All the structures are fully removable and movable allowing for set designs to be created, utilising all spatial directions. The Ballroom is fully sound proofed, as is the partition wall when used to separate the Ballroom into two or three spaces.
It also has the ability for a vehicle to enter the Ballroom via two car lifts.

The Lawrence
Pre-function Area: Size: 425 square metres
The Lawrence, named after Lt. T.E. Lawrence (who found fame as Lawrence of Arabia) is accessed from the main staircase.  Host a glamorous cocktail reception or a stylish lunch here, and with mobile bars and food stations for live cooking, you can create a fun and immersive theme fit for the occasion in this room.

There will be also a further 2 smaller rooms:
Morse code was widely used as a means of communication when the building operated as The Old War Office in the 20th Century.  These two meeting rooms are named as a tribute to this vital codified communication method.

Morse Meeting Room at 94 square metres
Code Meeting Room at 89 square metres
Capacities for each room: 42 theatre style, 30 boardroom style, 24 cabaret style
The spaces are versatile as the rooms can be configured in many different formats as they can be divided into a further 6 separate rooms.   Each room has a built- in wall mounted 55” LED flat screen and discreet drop-down projection facilities are available in some rooms.

Separate and private ante rooms are used for catering, meaning meeting room events and guests are separate from The Whitehall Ballroom events.

Broadwick Soho – Summer 2023 

Broadwick Soho will be a great venue for smaller corporate entertainment, board meetings, executive training and high end incentives and will have 57 bedrooms.

Final details of the event space are yet to be confirmed but we can tell you this:

  • The Dining Room situated on the top floor of the hotel. This room can take boardroom:24 guests; roundsL 40 guests and for a reception 50-60 guests
  • There will be rooftop dining bar and terrace will be available for selected private hire with a total capacity and existing furniture of around 100 guests.
  • The lower ground floor of the main restaurant will be able to host 50-60 guests for a private dinner

Hyatt Regency Lisbon – opening soon!

The Hyatt Regency Lisboa is located in Belém, western area of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. It has a prestigious location alongside the Tagus River and surrounded by the most important museums and historical monuments of the city.
Just 10 minutes from Lisbon’s historic downtown and 20 minutes from the Airport.

The Hotel has 204 bedrooms including 105 Suites!

The Meeting & Events space consists of:
220 sqm main meeting room that can be divided into 4 large board rooms, when combined the room can take up to 144 classroom or 176 theatre style
Each room individually can take up to 36 classroom style, 16 boardroom and 44 theatre style.
Multifunction Mezzanine with direct access to the garden and lots of natural light.
A Rooftop event space overlooking the Tagus River and the stunning 25th April Bridge

For larger conferences and meetings the Hotel is next door to the Lisbon Congress Centre
